Roy,

I can't thank you enough for a great day on the water! I learned alot from you and am looking forward to our next trip. I would highly recommend to anyone who is beginning, intermediate or advanced to spend the day with you on the water. It was nice being in the boat that was catching the fish...instead of all the ones we passed who were complaining that the "fish weren't biting"! Your knowledge, experience and expertise on the water was so beneficial for me. I am already planning on getting back out to Merrill Creek this Friday!

I will be in touch soon to schedule another trip.

To anyone reading this note, do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a day on the water with Roy!

Sincerely,

Eric S. Krause

June 14, 2009

Today I had the pleasure of hosting Gene and his son Aaron on Merrill Creek Reservoir. We had a GREAT day despite early overcast sky.
Aaron was able to boat a 5 lbs 9 ozs Largemouth. The largest of his brief fishing career. The 9 year old may have to wait some time to best that fish.
We caught a limit of Largemouth and 2 pickerel as well as quite a few Rock Bass.
It is very rewarding to share the enthusiasm of a new angler being introduced to the terrific sport and experience.

Thanks,
Roy

We would love to do this again. Please let us know how heavy your schedule is and which location you suggest next.
Again, thanks a lot.

It's that time of year and we have been getting ready and even made it out onto the water. While waiting to launch, we had this discussion....

If you had only one lure that you were allowed to use, what lure would you choose?

Yes, we know under different circumstances we change our lures, however, this hypothetical question is, you are only allowed one lure for the day...... and we mean ONE and ONLY ONE lure. You may have multiple lures of the same type and color. Which would you chose?

I would go for a green worm.

How about the rest of you?

:) I, too, want to thank Roy for the great fishing lesson I had.

Took a lesson with Roy knowing my husband and I would be fishing on our vacation to Florida these past holidays. Well, ladies and gentlemen, my husband has been trying to teach me how to fish (and we all know how that goes). I enjoy fishing but just never seem to get the hang of it.

Well, had a wonderful lesson with Roy Edwards. He was very patient, explained things clearly. What was so wonderful, was that he also explained the reason why things are done the way things are done. Made it much better for me to understand.

My husband and I managed to go fishing and was he quite surprised when I didn't ask so many questions as I normally do. And was he even more surprised (one could say shocked) that I out fished him this trip. Not only did I catch more fish, but thanks to Roy's little "secrets and tips" ;) but my fish were bigger!!!!

It was quite surprising when my husband started asking me questions! Roy, don't be surprised when you get a call from my husband, just know he is going to try to pick your brain!

Thanks to you Roy, it was the best fishing trip I ever had! :)

Must confess, I learned lots, too.

Thank you, Roy!!

If anyone gets a chance and wants to learn how to fish, take a lesson with Roy. I highly recommend him to anyone!
